Veena Nayak, MD, FACR

Dr. Veena Nayak is a board-certified physician and Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR). Dr. Nayak earned her medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in Rheumatology at McGill University in Montreal, where she also served as a Research Associate in the Division of Rheumatology.

She specializes in diagnosing and managing complex rheumatologic conditions and is committed to utilizing the latest advancements in treatment to improve quality of life. Known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, Dr. Nayak builds trust through attentive listening, clear communication, and shared decision-making. She joined our clinical research team in 2022, bringing her clinical expertise and research experience to support the advancement of innovative therapies.
