Afiya Ahmed

Afiya Ahmed is the Director of Quality Assurance at Arya Clinical. With more than a decade of experience in clinical research, she brings extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, quality systems, and operational oversight.
Afiya began her career as a Clinical Research Coordinator in 2012, managing complex clinical trials and ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. Her hands-on experience in study operations provides a strong foundation for her current leadership role in quality assurance.

In her current role as Director of QA, she oversees quality assurance programs, implements process improvement initiatives, and strengthens compliance frameworks across research operations. She is particularly focused on building sustainable systems that enhance data integrity, regulatory readiness, and overall study performance.
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research with a focus on Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance from Northwestern University, a Six Sigma Green Belt from Purdue University.
